Advanced Yoga

We at Aadyam believe in a step-by-step and disciplined approach. Initially, the participant achieves disciplined fitness through our Basic Yoga for a beginner course. This course focuses on various warm-up exercises, Suryanamaskars, basic yoga exercises, Yoga postures in different positions, breathing exercises, stretching and strengthening selective muscles, and relaxation techniques.

Once the participant practices these primary sequences of Asanas, we advise the participants to take on our Advanced Yoga course.
Meditation postures form an integral part of this course. We teach various Shuddhikriyas, including Kapalbhati, Neti, and Tratak. They experience the cleansing effects of airways and visual pathways. Asanas in this course are a bit challenging. We teach various standing postures like Trikonasana, Veerbhadrasana, Parshwakonasana, Ardhachandrasana, and others.

Advanced Yoga

These postures are ideal as they help in proprioception, i.e., kinaesthesia, a sense of self-movement, and body position. Similarly, Asanas such as Setubandha, Dhanurasana, and Adho Mukha Shwanasan are helpful for anti-gravity muscle strength.

Our Advanced Yoga focuses on the controlled movement from one posture to another, as it maintains each posture with strength. This transition and holding of postures with stability and awareness produces heat that flushes and burns physical and mental toxins.

Pranayama is also an essential part of this course. Students practice Omkar meditation during Pranayama. Thoracic and abdominal breathing, Antar, and Bahir Kumbhakas are taught during Pranayama. After its practice, we teach Anulom Vilom, Ujjayi, and Bhramari Pranayama with the necessary anatomical details. Finally, we teach Bandhas and Mudras.

This course establishes an impact of Yogic discipline in the form of awareness in day-to-day life.
